The following photographs of the construction of the cantilever bridge over
the river Severn at Highley were taken in the 1930's. They were given to Derek
Turner in the early 1980's by Mrs Ann Hall wife of Albert Hall who was a native
of Highley and lived in Bewdley until their deaths in the 1990's. Bert worked on
the New Road into Highley which is the last set of pictures. These pictures are
now the copyright of Derek M Turner of Bewdley and his permission must be sort
to reproduce them.
